FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER

Job Description

The Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for the execution and development of landing pages, websites, web applications, social media and mobile. In this position you will have the ability to take a design and code it for cross browser compatibility, work with industry software to set up and deploy while troubleshooting any adjustments that may be needed to ensure final delivery of product is 100% accurate. Knowledge of user experience best practices with wire framing skills will get you to the top of the list.

Responsibilities

• Code and cross browser test landing pages
• Develop and cross browser test mobile landing pages
• Develop and implement social media applications, web pages, and integration
• Maintain and update both J&C and current client websites
• Follow all brand and spec guidelines of all clients
• Report directly to Manager of Technical Development

Skills

• Development for mobile web including: landing pages and mobile websites
• Working knowledge of CMS-based websites, Hubspot preferred
• PHP and MySQL knowledge
• HTML5 standards and best practices for developing websites and landing pages
• CSS3 skills, techniques and SEO best practices
• Possess written and verbal communication skills for working in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of browser compatibility issues and providing coding solutions
• Knowledge of implementing third party web analytics code include Google Analytics and Hubspot Analytics

Qualifications

• BA, BS or Technical Certification or experience equivalent
• Ability to get assets from InDesign or Photoshop
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agency or equivalent freelance role
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, PHP, MySQL, JQuery and Web Analytics
